Private Treatment & Charges
Rhayader Dental Practice is a mixed NHS and private practice. As from 1st April 2006 there are no longer registration lists. A dentist has a fixed capacity for NHS dental care. At times we can be extremelely busy on the NHS and we may not have the capacity to see you for a full course of treatment on the NHS. On occasions there may be a waiting list to get an appointment for routime dental treatment on the NHS. Any patient that has started an NHS course of treatment and is in need of urgent dental care will usually be seen the same day. Any patient that requests to complete his routine treatment quicker could book to have it done privately as we have set aside sessions, usually Saturdays, for this and for the convenience of our patients. We can arrange for you to be seen on late weedays or weekends.
